We did not test any of these brands. Our customers did — they owned them first, paid full price for them, and then wrote down what changed when they switched. Here is every premium name that came up in our reviews, in the buyers' own words, including what they say they gave up.
The short version. Cozy Earth, Brooklinen, Parachute, Sheex, DreamFit, Tempur-Pedic, Cariloha and Pure Beech all appear in our own customer reviews — named by people describing what they slept on before. The pattern they describe is consistent: a comparable smooth, cool hand at a materially lower price, plus corner straps most premium sheets do not include. The pattern they also describe: ours is not the silkiest sheet on that list, it wrinkles, and it wants gentle laundering. Why We Can Publish This At All
Brand-versus-brand bedding articles are usually written by someone who has slept on one of the two products. Often neither.
We have not lab-tested Cozy Earth or Brooklinen, we have no thread-count teardown of a Sheex sheet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we have is narrower and, for a shopper, more useful: a stack of reviews in which people volunteered the brand they owned before, unprompted, because that comparison was the most useful thing they could tell the next buyer.
So every comparative statement in this article is a customer's, in quotation marks, with their name on it. Ours appear only where we describe our own product's specifications. Where a reviewer preferred what they had before, that is here too.
Read these as individual experiences. They are one person's bed, one person's laundry, one person's skin — not controlled comparisons, and not claims we are making about anyone else's product. Bedding is unusually subjective: two people in this article disagree with each other about the same sheet.

"It's not just hype, these are very nice fitted sheets. Buttery soft and fit beautifully on the bed with straps to keep them in place. I have a topper on my mattress so mine is extra thick. Still fit exceptionally well and stay put. Plus I love the softness of these over my usual Sheex brand. The price is a very good value given the quality. May seem expensive but it's half the price of my usual ones and just as good. The straps are a nice touch because even the best elastic loses its elasticity over time."

That last sentence is the most quietly expert thing anyone has written in our reviews. Elastic fatigues. A strap that anchors under the mattress carries load the elastic edge would otherwise take alone, which is why a sheet with straps ages differently from one without.

What They Say It Feels Like
Specifications tell you what a sheet is. They do not tell you what it is like to get into. For that, the reviewers are better writers than we are.
Tabetha's "like if satin and water had a baby" is the one we would not have thought of. Maria Fernandez, on a Queen fitted sheet: "not only does this bad boy stay on the corners, you feel like you're in a luxury hotel when you're laying on them." Kathleen Leonardi, also Queen: "beautiful color, super soft, stays put and most importantly, keeps me cool all night long." Dot, on a King: "it's buttery soft. Great quality. Easy to put on mattress."
And the one that captures the actual first night, from Jacob H.: "the material is silky smooth and buttery soft… I've never had sheets that stay cool like this. Seriously — buy them."
What You Give Up
This is the section that makes the rest of the article worth reading, so we are not going to soften it.
It is not the silkiest sheet on that list. Freeman: "They are soft but NOT silky like other bamboo sheets. They actually feel kind of like a bamboo/cotton blend which I love." She meant it as praise. If you want liquid silk, DR's review above is the one to believe.

It wrinkles. Consistently, and more than a cotton percale will. PKSreviewer framed it the way we wish more reviews did: "It wrinkles, if that matters to you." There is a free fix that costs nothing — take it out of the dryer and put it straight on the bed, and let the mattress do the ironing.
It wants gentle laundering, and some people find that annoying. SunnyZ: "They are pretty high maintenance — you cannot use any heat to dry them and they have to be washed in cold." That is fair. A cotton percale will forgive a hot dryer; this will not.
And it is not indestructible. Some buyers have had a sheet wear through sooner than it should, most often at the foot of the bed. If that happens, contact us — several customers have documented in their own review updates that we replace or refund, and that record is the thing we would rather be judged on than a claim.

We are not going to print a price comparison table against brands whose pricing changes weekly and whose sales we do not track. Are these a Cozy Earth alternative?
Two of our customers who owned both came to opposite conclusions — Lexie Miller switched back to ours, DR found ours too slick and preferred hers. They are different fabrics at different prices, and the only reliable way to know which suits you is to try one piece rather than a whole bed.
How do bamboo sheets compare with Brooklinen?
Brooklinen's best-known sheets are cotton — percale and sateen. Bamboo-derived viscose has a smoother, more fluid hand and a cooler first touch; cotton percale is crisper and more forgiving in the wash. Our reviewer who owned both said "different" rather than better, which is the right word.
Are cheaper bamboo sheets just worse?
Not automatically, but price does buy something real in this category: yarn quality and weight. What it does not reliably buy is fit hardware — corner straps and full-perimeter elastic are engineering decisions, not price decisions, and plenty of expensive sheets skip both. It is the main reason a mid-priced bamboo fitted sheet can outperform a premium one on the thing you actually notice at 3 a.m.
What's the difference between bamboo viscose, rayon, modal and lyocell?
All regenerated cellulose fibres, differing mainly in how the cellulose is processed. Bamboo viscose and bamboo rayon are the same thing under two names. Modal and lyocell are made by different processes and tend to be stronger when wet. Ours is viscose derived from bamboo — we say it that way rather than "100% bamboo" because the finished fibre is chemically regenerated, not bamboo in its original form.
